**Red and White Girls — Left Panel**
**About the Work**
Inspired by Ogata Kōrin’s *Red and White Plum Blossoms*, this pair of paintings replaces the plum trees with girls whose hair is red and white. Against a gold ground recalling the original work, the pixelated figures bring together visual sensibilities from traditional Japanese art and contemporary pixel imagery.
This listing is for the left panel only. The right panel is sold separately.
